Thilini is a watercolour and mixed media artist mainly focusing on native Australian flora. Her love of nature has always been part of life.
Thilini loves to paint loose botanicals as showcased in her eucalyptus leaf sets, as well as using watercolour and pen mixed media for her floral range. Both styles of artwork will bring a unique feel - calm, soothing and minimalist with the loose watercolour designs and bright, colourful and bold with the mixed media designs.
Thilini’s heritage is Sri Lankan, coming to Australia when she was seven with her parents. After moving a lot her family finally settled in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Upon completing high school she completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences – Speech Pathology and worked in this profession until she had children. Thilini now lives in Melbourne’s south east suburbs with her husband and two children aged 4 and 2. She has a love for reading, the outdoors, indoor plants, travelling and of course painting!
